Chairman, Founding Partner

Our Chairman, Walt H. Petrie, is a founding partner with a reputation that is unmatched in retail development. For more than thirty years, he’s been the driving force behind many of the most successful properties in the nation, turning them into thriving landmarks of economic activity. In addition to managing his own development companies for many years, Walt has held leadership positions at The May Company and The Taubman Company.

At Petrie Richardson Ventures, Walt oversees corporate relations, leasing, financing, pre-development efforts and evaluates new real estate opportunities. Walt envisions what can be accomplished – and leads the team to make it a reality.

Terry L. Richardson

Terry L. Richardson

President, Chief Operating Officer & Founding Partner

Terry L. Richardson, our President and Chief Operating Officer, is also a founding partner, who is deeply involved in all aspects of the venture, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, development, construction, finance and property management. He also manages the day-to-day operations for the firm, including company-wide strategies and systems.

Terry has 30 years of experience in design and construction of retail development projects. Prior to joining Walt Petrie to form PRV, Terry served as Owner and General Manager of Lane Engineering, a mid-Atlantic based development services and civil engineering firm and as a Construction Project Manager of the international consulting firm Dames and Moore.

Christian T. Duffy

Partner and Director of Development

Chris Duffy joined Petrie Richardson as Director of Development in 2007 and in January, 2015 was named a Partner of Petrie Richardson Ventures, LLC.  Chris oversees the day to day construction and development projects. He also leads project budgeting as well as acquisition due diligence and underwriting. Chris Duffy has 20 years of experience in acquisition/mergers, entitlement, development, and construction.

Partner and CFO

Amy Harrison joined Petrie Richardson Ventures as Chief Financial Officer in August, 2008 and in January, 2015 became a partner in Petrie Richardson Ventures, LLC. Amy Harrison is responsible for the oversight of all financial matters, including reporting, budgeting, modeling, forecasting, financing, tax, cash management and human resources. Amy has 30 years of experience in commercial and residential real estate development, construction and management for both public and private companies. She is a 1982 graduate of The Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, College Park and has been a CPA since 1990. Prior to her employment at Petrie Richardson, Amy worked for Lennar, K. Hovnanian, Bob Ward Companies, Chateau Builders and Sigal/Zuckerman. Amy resides in Annapolis, Maryland with her husband and two sons.

Warren "Bud" Duckett III, Esq.

Partner and General Counsel

Bud Duckett joined Petrie Richardson as Vice President and General Counsel in July 2009, and in January 2015 was named a Partner of Petrie Richardson Ventures, LLC.  He is responsible for overseeing, managing and documenting all of the firm’s legal affairs and corporate matters. Prior to joining Petrie Richardson Ventures, Bud practiced law at the law firm of MulreninFrances, P.A. in Annapolis, Maryland and Whiteford, Taylor and Preston, L.L.P. in Baltimore, Maryland. Bud graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 1998 and the University of Maryland, College Park in 1989.  He lives in Annapolis, Maryland with his wife, Joan, and four children, Bird, Chase, Lucy and Oden.
